Description:

Trinidad’s long and winding red brick road has been wild since the start. While we boast a truly crazy past, today we continue making history with a quirky and colorful culture that embraces everyone and everything. We anticipate with excitement the many great changes in our community that will impact outdoor recreation, arts and culture, and health and wellness, increasing the vitality of our classic Colorado town.

Services & Amenities:

Travel the byways our ancestors used to arrive in the valleys and plains to the east and west, along the Scenic Highway of Legends or the Santa Fe Trail. Explore our two state parks — Trinidad Lake State Park for irresistible fishing, paddleboarding, boating, kayaking, and camping, and Fishers Peak State Park, which offers 13 stunning miles for hiking and mountain biking. Conquer the new trail to the top of the nearly 10,000-foot Fishers Peak and stand in awe of the jaw-droppingly beautiful views.

Enjoy a laid-back game of golf on our pristine golf course or an evening stroll along our Riverwalk. Shop in our colorful downtown with captivating historic architecture. Take in a show, comedy act, or theatre performance at Main St. Live! and visit our many museums for a peek at our history.
