The Dinosaur Diamond runs through the best land in the world to learn about dinosaurs. Numerous sites are available to the public where bones, fossils, and tracks are still visible in the ground.

Many museums along the way add to the opportunities to see and learn about dinosaurs and the ancient Indians who once lived in the deep canyons, colorful deserts, and mountain valleys. Canyon Pintado, with the more than 50 examples of ancient rock art, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
